What does that tell us about the undisputed AO King - Novak Djokovic? Is he the people's champion? The real GOAT? Does his AO dominance hold more weight than Rafa's RG dominance?

Discuss.

Well, hard court for a start is the hardest surface to be dominant on as it's where there is the biggest competition. Djokovic is more like an anti-hero to be honest.

That said, there is quite a gap between Nadal domination at the FO and Djokovic domination at the AO.

A slam is a slam, none counts more than the other
In theory, people's slam is a slam where the players feel most comfortable, therefore it's the most challenging slam to win and has the most weight.

In the context of a single slam in the 21st century, yes. In the context of careers, no. For example, Federer's career standing would decrease if you traded his single Roland Garros title for another AO.

He's not even close to the most popular player in Australia where he's most dominant let alone the world. Likely the only place on the whole planet he's most popular is Serbia.

Any statement that starts with "Now that we have established..." pretty much means that you haven't established s**t.

Just sayin'...

Can't form an opinion on "peopIes champion" but we can discuss "dominance" on various surfaces esp. once Novak achieves no.12 HC majors hopefuIIy (God wiIling) Iater this year at USO.

I'm not holding my breath for this years USO, or it even being played.
But I am supremely confident Nole will win a record extending 9th AO next year regardless.
Nole has legitimised the AO, and made it the "people's Slam" single-handedly.

Since we have established that your name choice "Unbiased" is the biggest lie in the history of human kind, will you finally stop posting at MTF?

What's wrong with having some unbiased research? If that research happen to favor one, or to disqualify other player, that doesn't automatically mean that I am not an unbiased fan of the game who treats all the players fairly and equally.

I mean, for me Stan is the "people's champion", seeing he's the one who toppled the "monarchy" of Djokovic in 2014, before it came back again. :p

This is correct.

There are two people's champions in the tennis world.

1. Wawrinka
2. Del Potro

Both of these guys get unanimous support around the world and its due to who they are and how they play. Wawrinka is Stanimal for a reason, he plays an electrifying game and his shots legitimately make you gasp in real life. He is also very relate able, in his struggles and victories. He fights, yells, screams, celebrates , etc. all for the love of the game.

Del Potro is in the same boat. Talk about a guy who always puts 110% into the game, also his story of hardship with injuries makes it even harder to root against him. Once again his play style is electrifying and makes you gasp when he hits a booming forehand.

Any other answer then these two is in correct.

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are not the peoples' champions.
