OK here's my take:

FO 2010, Soderling knocks out the reigning champion Federer in the Quarterfinals, the same guy who beat him convincingly in his first ever final back in 2009 at the same tournament. He goes onto lose to the previous champion, the King of clay Rafa in his second final again. Before the tournament Soderling wasn't on great form.

Wimbledon 2011, Berdych faces Rafa the reigning champion in the Quarterfinals, the same guy who beat him convincingly in his first ever final back in 2010 at the same tournament. He will then go onto lose to the previous champion, the King of grass in his second final again. Right now Berdych isn't on such a great form.

Anyone reckon this could happen? There's some striking similarities.

Lol I know it's not really likely to happen but it looks extremly similar to me lol.

I was looking at this yesterday, the weird thing is Soderling wasn't exactly in great form before RG 2010 either. I don't know, I would love for something similar to happen to this, but we'll see.

I had this in the back of my mind ever since Berdych made the final at Wimbledon lol. I knew Berdych was never gonna win that final, he just crumbled against Nadal. Same kind of happened with Soderling against Federer.

Nadal lose to Berdych? Not likely.
Soderling beating Federer was less likely, if I remember correctly going in to that match Robin had only won 2 sets in like 13 meetings? At least Berdych has beaten Nadal a few times and even pushed him to 3 this year.
