i think they shoooooould!!!
i know with all the traditions and everything they want to keep everything...traditional...but doesnt neone else think they should get rooves maybe just on centre court and court 1? it must be frustrating for the ppl actually at wimby if they have no idea whats happening or what's going to happen and then for the players...and if they just got two rooves it'd be so much easier...

and then ppl say itd be advantaged for the people who actually get to play and not fair for the ppl who win then have to play two days in a row but then that can happen anyway if rains comes after the first matches or something....

Yes, definately, Wimbledon should get a roof at least over Centre and Number 1 Courts. I live very close to Wimbledon, and have been going every year since I was a young child, and it is so frustrating to be hanging around there in the rain, let alone the problems it causes for the players. They ran a poll on British TV about it today, and 93% of people wanted to get a roof, so the Wimbledon Committee is coming under a fair amount of pressure here to do it, but somehow I doubt the traditionalists will allow it.

Notice how the one Grand Slam that usualy doesnt suffer because of rain has roofs on their main courts?! Bless the Aussies....So smart

Not only does Wimby need roofs...they need lights too...same with Roland Garros...when will people learn....they are a great investment and are crowd pleaser!!
