Big 2 are GOATs of this game. They would win in they older age in any previous era, because they are that good and consistent. And even when they under-perform, it's still almost like they have a cheat code for winning. Having 2 titans like this in the same era is not exactly fair to younger players. Which means that younger players gets criticized for the lack of winning unfairly.

Thiem sensed that unfairness more than any other young player - he was in enough finals already, and he lost each of them despite constantly getting better, because he faced GOATs of the game at their "home" tournaments. If he was in any other era, he would already win some, no question about it. But he isn't, and that seems unfair.

So with all mentioned facts in mind, would it be good for this sport and fair to younger players if the Big 2 would gift a slam to Thiem? Maybe Nadal should gift a RG, because Novak already got short for 1 W because of the pandemics.

The answer to the OP's question is: NO.
But my question to him is: who gifted you with the thread-opening rights?
