Should abolish the second serve in tennis? Such ideas were heard quite often. In this case, the most important will be the integrity of the player and the balance between all components - technique, tactics, physical training. Will be excluded the cases when the player wins the smarter player only by serving, as is often used Raonic or Isner, Federer definitely.

No, don't be stupid. That's a terrible idea.

Maybe. Mugs players like Botnik would not be able to make a career from the game, which would be good.

In 2014 Isner had an higher % of second serve points won than Djojovic, don't be so sure that all-serve players would be swept away that easily. Still, it's true that overall they would struggle a lot more.

OK, the stupidest idea ever ... There were a couple of STUPID threads about this already. Tennis is tennis. It should just stay the way it is. Tradition. You can't always put the ball in not matter how good you are. You get another opportunity. You serve an ace, when having the second serve ... You can DF too.

wtf, are you people talking about? Oh, I have a better idea, let's get rid of the net too ;).

Abolish the 2nd serve, but make the minimum speed for the single serve 100mph.

Anything below 100mph is a fault.

I would abolish the let call.

Voleyball use to have same rule, until they changed it for the better.

If the ball goes to the other guys side and he cant get it its an ace. If it doesnt clear the net you loose a point.

Once the point has started if the ball hits the net is still playable.
