Would be interesting if he face Roddick in Rd 2..Roddick probably shits his pant seeing a Fed wannabe on the other side of the court

If he is still capable of good tennis ;)
Grigor plays his best tennis against tennis starts,so i hope its Roddick...its a good draw for Grigor for 3R or more,he just must show the game like last 2 weeks, lets see

He must have played an awful first set, losing 2-6 to Ilhan it's not a good sign. However, good chance to beat Lu/Roddick on R2

Happy he won. No-one knows how the match went nor it's quality, we didn't see it. All we can say is that Grigor's service numbers were not good for a set and the start of the second set, but he seemed to put things together thereafter and serve better, which one would assume would release pressure from the rest of his game. He's becoming more competent at this level and he's beginning to win the matches he should. He's in a kind section of the draw, let's see if he can take advantage of the opportunity.

I think he'll do better against Roddick too, who will most likely choke on the big points. Lu is a tricky gritty player to face.

I prefer Grisha taking on Lu, but sadly it's not looking like it. Still, if Grisha has a good passing shot day, he will roast Duck lol.

Nah I was worried after the first set, I'm glad Grisho finally took the match. :bounce:
why the nickname GRISHO, Grigor Dimitrov?????? where did the nickname come from? and Grigor should be very happy, R2 Masters 1000! Would be big news if Dimitrov beat ROddick, despite Andy not being in form this year
