Why don't they just remove the sword?

I find it really weird that any nation's flag has a sword in it! And they got the nerve to make it green, the color of peace

I am the sword, I am the optimum meaning of peace.

how about the anthromorphic sun on the Uruguay flag? That gives children nightmares.

nor do I appreciate the violent image of an eagle killing a snake that is depicted so heroicly on the Mexican flag.

and what of the the tripped out LSD image in the Ugandan flag? That's not something I would want to see at night time or anytime really.

The old French anthem sounds so much cooler (I don't understand the words, but the music is great):

well sometimes you need a sword to defend peace, depends on your point of view

the sword in the Arab culture is a symbol of truth, justice, glory, honor, power among other values that have been traditionally linked with the sword, it's commonly presented as the highest honorary gift as you can see in the following images

not only that, but it's part of the Saudi traditional dance costume, and some other Arabic cultures

our current king is a big fan of the dance, he's one of the best at it among the royalty, here you can see him performing it at the annual Jenadriyah festival

It's the sword they'll chop your head off with should you be non-royal, adulterous, homosexual or, heaven forbid, have a vagina and drive to the mall with a male friend.

Hmmm, why is it you don't feel threatened by the Buddhist sword in the flag of Sri Lanka? Or the cutlass in Angola's? Or the Kenian lances? Or the daggers in Oman's? Or the many national seals that figure weapons, even heavy guns?

I agree Wahhabi swords are a bit more worrying, at least at the present moment. But the problem isn't the sword in the flag.
