Hasn't won a match since Acapulco in February. He isn't looking even that bad on court though.

Roland Garros: lt Bellucci
Geneva: lt Ramos
Estoril: lt Gasquet
Barcelona: lt Granollers
Houston: lt Querrey (via retirement)
Miami: lt Nieminen
Irving CH: lt Mathieu
Indian Wells: lt Roger-Vasselin
Acapulco: lt Ferrer (R16)

Showed flashes of his grass court skills, but mostly he showed how low he is on confidence.

Missed to chances to break early in both sets (couldn't get any of the four returns in), and then lost serve the following game.

Had chances towards the end of the second set too. I agree, this is mostly a mental thing. Matosevic, even on the best of days, wouldn't be winning that many matches, but when low on confidence he just implodes.

Not much to be gleaned as Marinko is a walking bye atm, but it's a much needed win for Vashy. :yeah:

Even his favourite surface can't help Marinko get a win or a set for that matter (lost 15 in a row).
