great to see adrian finally win a title especially since its on grass. his game works so well on the surface it would have been a shame if he never won a title on it.

the match itself was pretty mediocre for a final but its great to see adrian finally cap off one of these runs. he beat a lot of very good players on the way .

Re: Libema Final Mannarino def Thompson 7-6(8-6) 6-3

Perhaps, this was the only way Mannarino would finally get it done in a final. Face 1st time finalist who choked harder. Jordan bottled the first set and never recovered. All those missed routine forehands will haunt him for weeks to come, if not longer. Also, spare a thought for poor Julien Benneteau.

7th time lucky!

Chokey first set. Thompson had a very good chance to take it with a SP that he missed wide a FH sitter, and also some leads in the TB he never capitalised on. Mannarino then survived a very long 8 deuce game in the second early on, broke right after and kept his lead.

Congrats to Mannarino, not shabby for Thompson but a step too far. Well deserved title for Mannarino after beating Goffin and Coric as well.

Finally Mannarino gets one! Good to see him not become the new Benneteau, which he was close to doing.

He'd had a pretty rough year to this point, but he's always been pretty garbage on slow surfaces and really good on grass.

Is it me or he thanked his partner during the speech?

Mannarino right on the cusp of Wimbledon seeding- he's quite the dangerous floater on grass if he misses. #34 now, match vs Kyrgios in Queens is big for him.

Potentially the first ever Kyrgios match in which he is less hungover than his opponent :p

What a bizarre win for Mannarino. I like his game, I know he's good on grass, but his form has been horrendous.

Good to see Mannarino finally get a title.

Also very important to see tennis saved from the supreme embarrassment of Thompson winning a title.

I wouldn't ever try to claim that Thompson has an overly pleasing game to watch but I for one admire how hard he obviously works to be the best player he possibly can be with his limited weapons. he's having a great year consistently beating established players and winning multiple matches in most tour tournaments including Masters and slams. If Kyrgios applied himself 25% as much as Thompson does he's be a consistent top 10 players without a doubt.

Libema is a freaking sponsorship, ffs, how many times we will tell you guys, if the city's name is too long for you, call it Den Bosch, as the locals call it.

Do we call ATP World Tour Final, as Barclays Final Federer def. Djokovic? right.
It sure is a sponsor but it's also the official name of the tournament. Just because we usually call tournaments by their location, it doesn't make this thread title incorrect.
