Story from May 13th on talks to move ATP Toronto to US location

This is due to Canadian govt still imposing mandatory 14 day quarantine on everyone entering the country. No date even set for lifting of this requirement with players and officials having to start arriving in first week of August, that's now 8 weeks away. Unless something happens in the next couple of weeks, they will have to then start moving ahead with a US location. Even though current case rates and deaths in Canada similar to or lower than most European countries and US states, almost half the population of Canada still in very severe hard lockdowns (all non-food stores closed, all schools closed, all outdoor dining closed). Doesn't look promising for any tennis again this summer in Canada.

Anyone heard any details about where in US they are thinking of relocating to?

You guys are so weird up there. We're living strong normal and free south of the imaginary line. Can't believe you are allowing your government to keep you locked up as prisoners in your own homes.
