Re: Qualifying Entry List (updated January 21, 2015)

Why cant all tournaments have qualifying entry lists
I think it would be too complicated, in 500s it is understandable, as they're only 10 (?) per year and cut-off is often higher. In 250s and CHs and so on there is no need, just showing up on deadline is enough, although I agree there should be some system in it.

Not sure about this, and how alternates list in f.e. 250 affects qualifying lists there, but it would be nice for players to have something like "possible Q list" where they can sign into qualies beforehead so somebody who is ranked f.e. 320 shouldn't just "come and see" but will have certainity when he comes into tournament after longer travel perhaps.

I know there are "priority tournaments" as well as in ITF Futures, just don't have too much insight in it. :)

On which dates are the qualifying matches played? I have tickets for the quarter finals but I also would like to see João Sousa play.

Joao will probably be in main draw, so if you want to see him, stick around on Monday/Tuesday and you will see him for sure :wavey:

Thanks, I am abroad until Monday so I hope he still is there on Tuesday. And if not, there are still enough good players to see ;)

Great news for Tim. It will be a great experience for him but realistically he does't have a chance to qualify here.
He's doing pretty good last months. For example two weeks ago he beat Safiulin.

Still Mathieu wrote on twitter yesterday that he'd go to Rotterdam today.

Dutch players Jelle Sels and Niels Lootsma have been entered into the qualifying tournament as wildcards. :yeah:
I think they'll probably get a WC for doubles qualies as well.
