Nice win from Robin H, he really wants to win this home tournament. He was fighting like hell, was nervous like hell, and was happy like hell

Berrer actually played some nice points, but Robin was more stable from the baseline, hit some fantastic winners and that was it

Krajicek should be happier a bit now ;)

:haha:

If Berrer can't even be more stable from the baseline than Haase, then he should retire.

:)

Well, some of those jumping backhands by Haase can compete with this maginificent overhead by Berrer in his match against Roddick in Aussie Open

Great performance by Robin! :hatoff:

He's so determined and concentrated, really wants to *FIGHT*. And the crowd gives him wings...

I particularly loved the part where he defended three BP in the second set and loudly called out "Ik ben er weer!!!" (= "I'm BAAACK!!!"). At that point I was pretty sure he'd indeed end up as the winner of this match. And his celebration after his win - he jumped into the air, and fell right on his back!

There's a lot of passion in this guy. I like it. Hope he'll manage to take on Llodra as well. :yeah:

Absolutely! He really got me :D :D :D several times during this match. And while I'm usually not particularly cheering for my country men (I don't really appreciate obtrusive nationalism/patriottism, as you know by now - I rather judge players by their sheer abilities than on their exact place of birth... ), I have to admit that I think Haase has what it takes to at least make it within the top-50 or so. :D

Did Berrer show off his overhead talents?

Probably did but Haase did have a few smashes that landed a few meters in his own court as well.
