Hopefully Melzdown won't be too tired when Wimby starts, on the other hand these kind of results are great for his comeback.

He has a singles draw from hell. Better to go all out here and then focus on Doubles in Wimbledon.

I watched most of the final set and boy it was worth it.
Melzer had 4-2 but Nando won a huge seventh game and went on to lead 5-4. In the tiebreak Melzer had 6-3, wasted 3 MP (Nando played some great tennis there) and then had to save 2 MP on his own serve to finaly win this match :spit:
Nando really wanted this, some hillarious yelling, selftalking and racquet throwing in between.

RBA beat him already, they both finished their respective matches in the morning so no disadvantage whatsoever.

I believe they had just over 3 hours to recover.

Melzer was a break up in sets 2 and 3. Had 6-3 in the third set TB, after that Verdasco had 2 MP of his own.

Really exciting match, really the first of the week.
exciting match between two of my fave players and two lefties, epic tiebreaks
