What a disgusting match. Djokovic pushing and waiting for opponent’s errors, servebotting, cheating with too much time between points when down break points and screaming at the umpire (should have been defaulted for that).

The player without the BH channeling his inner Federer and choking at 40-15 when serving for the set. Then imploding with millions of unforced errors and gifting the match to the Serbian vulture.

Tennis lost today. Hopefully Shapo or Diego will save it tomorrow.

A step up for Nole all things considered, avoided the 1st set DQ this time at a sticky moment.

Nole was so happy doing his heart throws, very heartwarming.

Great week for Ruud, fantastic performance in long parts; some nice Forehands. The backhand will need some more work, big weeks coming up for Casper!! Looking forward to Hamburg & RG.

So Djokovic has obliterated Rafa's padawan, next step is the dwarf or Groot....

Only started watching at the end of the first, but still got that big choke at the end of it. On the other hand Djokovics serving at BP, tells it all.

Ruud can redline pretty nicely with his FH, but with a BH as suspicious as his you probably aren't going to beat DJ.

Let’s not talk about the joke umpiring here :p Djokovic‘s forehand was still shaky but other aspects of his game improved a lot from yesterday’s performance, he found some shades of peak BHDTLs in the final games. His clutch serving was the key today, a lot of break points were saved by the T serve. Ruud should draw some positives from this match, despite the big holes in his game and not being very clutch, he still pushed Djokovic hard with his forehand. First set was winnable(wouldn’t have changed the final outcome), but he faltered serving for it and Djokovic saved a set point with a perfect dropshot. His stamina still needs work, he was visibly fading at the end although understandable for a match with so many loooong games. He’s not as naturally talented as many other NextGen players and I doubt he’ll win many big titles, but I hope he can become a consistent claycourter as we’re lacking these kind of players recently.

Was this Ruud's first SF at Masters level? He played quite superbly at pts, especially with his FH wing blasting through the court. Djokovic got out of a potentially sticky one today. I will root for his opponent in the final but it's a good chance for him now to get another masters though I don't feel his form is that amazing.

Casper did his best, but he couldn't protect his weak BH side forever against the world #1.

This could've just been a R2 match tbh. Djokovic doing enough to get through. Will have to raise his level to win the title though, especially if he faces Diego there

Looks more routine than it was. Ruud, served for the set and had SPs and we had some very long games in the second set. The fact that this went 2 hours 10 mins for a 7-5 6-3 tells you how long some of these games went.

And yeah, that umpire made some disgraceful calls, luckily it didn't affect the outcome.

Also good to see and hear the crowd back, even if it is just a limited capacity.
