Nothing really spectacular about this match. Bolelli gave it away at the end with 3 cheap unforced errors after being up 5-4 in the tiebreaker. You felt like bolelli might have had a chance to take it in 3 if he won the tiebreaker but you also knew he wasnt winning that 2nd set with only 1 MB in the tiebreaker

Tsonga or Anderson next and he should be making an exit

That tiebreaker :stupid:
5-3 up, totally loses balance to lose minibreak on forehand error, misses two second serve returns in a row, misses short forehand

Bolelli had a chance to win that 2nd set but he wasn't mentally ready for it. I like to watch Bolelli play because he makes beautiful shots especially on clay, but mental toughness isn't his strength. This wasn't a pretty match for the Canadian but hey, if you have 2-0 on the scoreboard, that's all that counts.

Bolelli played really bad in the end.

Peak Bolelli would have easily routined Servebotic.

Bolelli :( Too many missed 2nd serve returns at 6-5 and at the end of the tiebreak. Too bad he couldn't take it to the decider.

Um Milos, Bolelli out rallying you from the baseline?
And? What's the problem? Raonic is hardly known to be a good baseline player.

First win for Milos in Rome in his career, but you could see again why he hasn't won here before. He definitely dislikes this slow, low bouncing surface. He also played such a poor second set that he really didn't deserve to win it (not that Bolelli did either, he choked away the TB).

If he faces Tsonga in R3, it's hard to see him winning it if his play today was any indication. Should have a shot against Anderson, though.
