Good, hard-fought win for Hubert who's been in a slump since January. Hopefully it will give him some confidence and help get back to a higher level.

Hubert served quite intelligently in this match taking off from the speed and going more for the angles. He also used a lot of perfectly executed drop shots.

Rublev was his normal self - trying to run around and dictate with his FH but on this slower surface it wasn't enough to outgun Hubert who himself isn't the best chaser.

Avery poor loss for Rublev is you ask me, maybe he is feeling fatigue from New York after all.

I don't rate Hurkacz very high. He has shown a suspect mentality too.
