I watched only the TB and Wawrinka was pathetic. He didn't seemed to be putting much effort and looked disinterested in the TB

Only watched from 6-0 2-0 and Musetti was really good, he was barely missing while going for big shots. Wawrinka was starting to play better as the set was progressing, but a shit tiebreak ended it for him.
Musetti is some talent, let's see if he can produce the same tennis against Kei.

Stan was dire in set 1 and average in set 2 but Musetti was really good. Nice mix of good defensive play and some shotmaking too. Intelligent and quite mature shot selection for his age. Also, didn’t crumble under pressure in 2nd set TB. This kid is gonna be good for the game.

Fatrinka was absolute garbage in set 1 (though we couldn't see how much garbage as the cameras went down, so there was not even TennisTV around for like 4 games), though he improved in set 2, came back from the break down, reached the TB, where Musetti absolutely GOATed and left no chance.
He is a great talent and his one-handed BH is like Fed's.
His idol was Wawrinka, he said in the after-match interview.

Wawrinka will be no threat for any Top 30 player at RG, if he continues this spiral in form.

Great win by Musetti!

Admittedly Stan didn't show up for the 1st 8 games, but after that he raised his game and Lorenzo still matched him.
Nice BHs, some great dropshots too! Virtually in the Top 200 with this win....let the hype begin? :)

As for Stan, looked dreadful but improved in the 2nd. Sucks for his preparation, but hopefully he still picks up his level in time for RG

How is this guy only 249th in the world?

Extremely impressed by Musetti...
He's only 18 years old, lost to Alcaraz (the new Nadal I heard  ) and Altmaier at his last 2 Challengers... but he is improving rapidly.
That's why he beat Popyrin (big scalp for so young) and Maden, both within Top 150 at the time of the match.
