Expected result. Jerzy showed flashes of brilliance but unfortunately it just wasn't enough. Dimitrov's defence is sublime these days, but I do wish he attacked a bit more since he has the tools.

Congrats to Dimitrov fans :).

In some moments statistic was shown: forehand unforced errors. Dimitrov 1, Janowicz 17.

Unforced errors in whole match: Dimitrov 11, Janowicz 31.

Janowicz is not reliable player in this moment. And he's definitely not reliable player on clay. Dimitrov is.

expected result, too many errors from JJ. At least it wasn't a complete blowout here.

Expected result. Dimitrov may be a bit inconsistent this year but he is the better and more talented player and he has shown some signs recently of getting his game back on track. He's still lacking some of the fire he had this time last year but at least he is moving in the right direction again.

Janowicz is on a bit of a losing streak at the moment.

Is there any other player who appears to be redlining his game during every point like Janowicz?

Legitimate question.

Pospisil maybe.

I think Janowicz played better than in previous tournaments. Failed to create a break point whole match, but at least saved 5 of his own 6. The other one he broke himself with a DF, but that happens when you go for all in 2nd serves too.

Dimitrov is playing at a pretty good level at the moment, not enough to win Roland Garros obviously, but with this level of play he can certainly get to a QF or SF with a good draw.

Dimitrov made more winners too.

Dimitrov improved a lot in tie-breaks this year: 7-3.

Also 8-2 in deciding sets (not the case today).

Grigor should've finished Jerzy off much earlier and more easily, though. Janowicz's inability to deal with deep shots was once again evident in this match, but Dimitrov looked unfocused at times.

Good warmup for Grigor, though. Far from perfect, but got the job done in the end.

JJ is inconsistent. Plays brilliant point then loses the next 4 like amateur. Good win for grigor, but I still think he's not what people think he is. nothing special.

if he is so poor as you claim all the time, why should not his fans be delighted?
Because while i do think he is poor, you guys make him sound like a Maradona of tennis. So judging by that logic shouldn't his fans behave normal when he beats a mug? This goes to the conclusion that even his tards know deep down he is top 11-20 material and but just can't admit it :shrug:

Shame that Janowicz will join the likes of Gulbis and Paire as the guys failing to reach their maximum potential.

Hopefully Cahill will manage to salvage something out of this crap.
