Fabio controlled the entire match, a bit too many errors in the 1st set but glad he won in straight sets. Albot or Paire in R2, I hope it's Paire cause he has to take revenge over that AO match.

Fognini once again with a pretty difficult draw. Last week Thiem in R16 and possibly Tsitsipas in R16 this week, we're getting matches between the form players early. Federer could also be waiting in the QF should they make it, the atmosphere at that would be electric.

Tsonga will never be the same. He seemed toothless. The entire match was on Fabio‘s racket. He never had a say in the outcome. His tennis is predictable, boring and error-prone and his serve is nothing what it once was. Sad, sad

Tsonga still has a huge FH, but Fabio too good right now.

Yeah, both Madrid and Rome with very unbalanced draws. That may be very misleading about who's chances are highest in Paris.

Tsonga has of course seen better days. But Fabio showing consistency? What an unexpected yet welcome surprise.

Maybe Flavia started a sex strike forcing Fabio to win these damned tennis tournaments.

It’s zverev whose top-4-seeding causes these unbalanced draws. Leading to quarters like thiem nadal and zverev tsitsipas... fortunately if zverev fails to win Rome (highly unlikely) seedings will finally make sense again in Paris

Tsonga was decent...not good and not bad. The main thing in that match was Fognini not giving out a few games in a row just for the hell of it. He was consistent and when he plays like that there's not much most players can do against him.
