Excellent win and turnaround for bulky Koepfer who played really well.
The slow clay court really favour his lefty, crafty, heavy shots.

De Minaur lead 63 30. He probably wins against Koepfer on all other surfaces,
but today - on slow clay court - he was the better player.

De Minaur is such a poor player on clay, I think he’d be the underdog against 80% of the top 100 on this surface. He still got really close to winning, wasted MP at 5-3 and failed to serve it out.

Koepfer also saved a match point when he was serving at 3-5 in the 3rd set. He was playing well, but De Minaur should never lose this match.

Yes....like hewitt. Reason is they feed off others pace. On clay there is not so much pace.

De Minaur looked like the safe winner at 6-3 3-0 before he lost 6 games in a row, but he's still an extremely shitty claycourter. Probably the worst in the top 50 together with Muglor Fritz.

de Minaur's game on clay is non-existent. Doubt he will ever be a top 50 player on this surface.
