Only caught the last set of this, most of it at least, but Goffin looked disastrous. Chardy is always dangerous when that forehand is firing (except against Djoker perhaps...)

Hm. I was not able to watch more than 10% of the match because of other matches...
But this result is a real surprise.
I like both players and Chardy when on is a great player and has a lot of offensive potential.
But as others mentioned, Goffin should have the variety to interrupt this ballbashing...

Kind of a similar story to the Sock-Dimitrov match where Dimitrov was not at all able to mix it up more.

Not today, Chardy was serving big and his FH was crazy good, Goffin was overpowered.

He can also be the worst player to watch when he is off though.

His match gainst Young in IW for example was one of the worst performances I ever saw.
