The one that has Davidovich Fokina and Maden as seeds looks easily toughest one to me.

Decent draw. Will be lots of great battles.

I posted earlier that i cant see a single frenchman wildcard qualify for main draw and that didnt change.

The real question is, can Polansky lose in FQR and get in as a lucky loser?

Overall, it is a very evenly matched draw. I tried to see anybody that I could say will make it through for sure but I couldn't see any that are obvious.

Molleker/Robredo is a pretty good matchup for a Q1

Andrej Martin
Filip Horansky (or Caruso)
Paolo Lorenzi
Henri Laaksonen
Kamil Majchrzak
Marco Trungelliti (strong players in this section, but many with injury problems or poor form)
Thiago Monteiro
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina
Pedro Martinez (very weak section)
Elias Ymer
Dennis Novak
Oscar Otte
Steve Darcis (or Travaglia)
Viktor Troicki (very weak section)
Sebastian Ofner (weak section)
Gianluca Mager

Here are my predictions, but I have no confidence in any. This is a really weak draw overall. I was actually thinking of going on Wednesday and Thursday, but not worth the travel to see a draw of this quality.

Sandgren
Caruso
Lorenzi
Laaksonen
Majchzrak
Trungelliti
Monteiro
Davidovich Fokina
Arnaboldi
Quinzi
Novak
GGL
Darcis
Troicki
Lestienne
Molleker

Many tough matches today, I'll go with those (or at least one of the two mentioned) to get through:

Andrej Martin, Emilio Gomez, Fratangelo/Lorenzi, Mikael Ymer (he's playing better than his brother now), Majchrzak/Bolelli, Vatutin , Balazs/Monteiro, Fokina/Domingues, Pavlasek, Coppejans/E. Ymer, Darcis, Galan/Novak, Otte/Napolitano, Giannessi, Hanfmann, Molleker/Mager.

I hope Moroni gets a chance too, he's the truth on clay.

Why wasn't Jason Tseng given a QWC? He's last year's junior champ.

Really surreal to see Weintraub in the draw. Hasn't played in forever and doesn't like clay at all, but here he is collecting a nice cheque while bowing out to Rosol.

Giron bagels Young  Go Marcos :yeah: Put in the work by playing Challenger on the red clay in Europe (even if with little success) and I hope he can do well here.

Indeed, some players just do that, I remember Denis Tursunov doing the same at every slam just before retirement.
