At Roland-Garros 2020, the quarterfinals will be played over two days, with two sessions scheduled each day. Session 1 will start at 12 noon, and session 2 will start no earlier than 5pm.

Each session will be the same as last year in terms of the number of matches played. They will each feature two matches: a women’s singles and a men’s singles, or the other way around.
Also men's SFs will start later.

Another schedule change involves the time of the men’s semifinals, which has been altered to better suit the spectators.

This also means that the players are guaranteed to play their whole match on one day, thanks to Philippe-Chatrier court’s retractable roof and lights.

Now, the first session will begin at 3pm (instead of 12.50pm) and the second will start no earlier than 5.30pm (instead of 3.30pm).

Great news for tennis fans.

If Nadal doesn't win on indoor clay this year, he objectively isn't the real clay King, he is just the outdoor wind - clay specialist.

There is no such thing as "indoor clay". It's just clay, roofed for rain.

Imagine Indoorovic winning with closed roof over Claydal. The ruins would be unmatched.
But seriously - would such title be asterisked?

Why would elimination of the weather factor put an asterisk on the new champion? After all, indoor / roofed / whatever you wanna call it are ideal conditions, unlike outdoor.

LoL Tennis is an outdoor sport. The indoor thingy is bad counterfeit so bored northerners could do something in the winter.

I respectfully disagree.

Great news, hopefully we'll see lots of tennis under the lights on Chatrier and on three other courts this year (Article). Wondering if they can play under lights up to midnight or they'll have to pull the roof up on Chatrier after 9/10/11 PM.

Asterisked or not, it will be added to a total :) But, seriously, it's like in football: "weather conditions (rain) were in favour of team A". Where the hell team B played?

Fognini vs. NADAL R1 closed roof
Why do you have Nadal in your signature? I hope you realize that someone wishing rain on RG Nadal matches isn't even a tennis fan, let alone a Rafan.

And you have the nerve to apply for mod, LoL.
