A look at titles by the 10's (10, 20, 30, 40, etc.)....

#10 2003 Vienna over Moya
#20 2004 USO over Hewitt (accidentally had 2005, fixed now).
#30 2005 W over Roddick
#40 2006 Toronto Gasquet
#50 2007 Cincinnati over Blake
#60 2009 Wimbledon over Roddick
#70 2011 WTF over Tsonga
#80 2014 Cincinnati over Ferrer

Another major milestone for Rogie, title #80, a record adding 6th Cincinnati, and 22 Masters Titles now only trailing Rafa who has 27.

Eh, still too early to call him equal to the longevity of Connors. Has a real chance of being the Lendl of this era though.

Just 99 wins shy of Lendl.

I took the liberty of examining Federer and Lendl's career trajectory based on wins, and Federer is about 45 wins behind Lendl (extrapolated to the end of the year). He's very close, and it's rather remarkable given his late start in his career that he would be step by step with Lendl.

Next year, we'll have a better idea as to whether he's the Connors or the Lendl. Lendl did not have a great final two seasons on the tour and didn't add much to his total. A good 50+ win season next year will establish Fed's longevity as surpassed only by Connors.
