Only saw the end, sounds like a strange match. Granollers next.

A thrilling match with lots of ups and downs, basically the set scores reflect the quality of each player in that particular set. Haase was up 2-0 in the decider and had break points at 4-4, but couldn't clinch it.

Better player won, ultimately.

Went back and watched the 5th set on replay. Good quality for most of it. There wasn't any choking, both players were going for it. Klizan hit some laser forehands in the end to take it.

What's with this forum's obsession with anything under 6-3 being a "WTA scoreline"?

Who cares? Sometimes a one sided scoreline symbolises a period of dominance for one player, you know. Even if it doesn't, and a player's useless or is tanking or something, that's no less pathetic than a player being sure of taking 3 games off their opposition in each set for example but ultimately, predictably losing every one.

I don't think it is more of the score per set but the momentum changes per Set, like the 1st Set having just one break from Player A, but Set 2 had two breaks from Player B. Not really an insult personally, it is just the nature of certain WTA matches are like that for some reason. Momentum changes like that are relatively rare on ATP especially among the Top 50 I think.
