I was going through the list and found two names I wanted to comment about;

Robin Haase, man... how he fell off is something else, even in challengers getting trashed by unknowns, if he doesn't qualify for the main draw he should seriously consider retirement.

Victor Troicki, needless to say I hope he pulls through just to troll his many haters on MTF.

yea, Nakashima was expected though, he is not a claycourter at all. Lorenzi out in straights is a surprise to me.

also Ilkel lmao, he was ahead 3-0 in 1st set vs Gunneswaran, then lost 3-6 and now is losing 0-5 in 2nd.

Seyboth Wild is a huge surprise but Nakashima is not a clay court player and Ficovich is a good clay court player and he is making progress, so not really surprised about this one
Yeah true. Nakashima does not have a lot of experience on European clay yet. He did have 2 matchpoints though.

Ouch, Seyboth lost to 28-year old Emilio Gomez...

I feel for Seyboth tbh.

Van de Zandschulp is no clay court player, but he did fairly well last weeks (lost 3-setter to Wawrinka, lost a tight 2-setter to the man in form: Karatsev. And Lorenzi, I think his best days on the red clay are long gone. I think he played his best matches in US Open, the last couple of years.
