Why RG-13? Because RG-15 and RG-13 from both Novak's and Nadal's perspective should be quite similar. Below I presented a short classification of the few last clay seasons in no particular order from Novak's perspective:

2014 season wasn't an indicator because Djokovic was sick and injured at RG.

2012 season also doesn't tell much, Novak was coming from 3 straight Slam victories over Nadal which decreased his hunger for RG and clay Masters.

In 2011 season Rafa was saved from his kryptonite by Fed(mostly by Fognini's walkover).

So the only relevant season to look at is 2013. That year is even similar to the current one with Novak's victory at Monte-Carlo before RG, but what makes the difference is Novak keeps his unbeaten big-tournament streak approaching RG-15 instead of coming from losses to Dimitrov and Berdych in 2013. Nadal's inability to win any clay Masters in 2015 only plays into Nole's hands.

It's not even that Nole needs to rematch RG-13 semi, although he managed to be in full control in 5th set despite of his average form and Pascal Maria antics, but messed it up with a funny net mistake. It's just how tennis balance works in real life. Djokovic got lucky with a linesman mistake at AO-13 vs Wawa, but it costed him AO-14.

Such analysis makes it clear that no matter how you look at it Djokovic is RG-15 champion.

Well, at least we didn't get a numerology or astrology analysis... though this is close. I mean 13 and 15 are both odd years ... but 13 is a prime number, so that's why Rafa won it. 15 ain't a prime number, so Djokovic wins it?
