Hello everyone, its been a good season for the maestro, this draw looks quite tricky though I must say! Number 10 looks like it will be a battle :boxing::

R1: def. Millman 7-6(1), 6-3
R2: def. Tsonga 7-6(5), 4-6, 7-5
QF: def. Bautista Agut 6-3, 4-6, 6-4
SF: def. Herbert 6-3, 6-3
F: def. Goffin 7-6(2), 6-1

HALLE CHAMPION FOR 10TH TIME

Federer will be tested...But am hopeful of him getting to the Finals at least. Interesting that his path features three people who had beaten him last year. His level versus Coric will probably be a true indicator of his form.

I'm hopeful he'll play much better than last year.

The grass season is well underway,
A great reason to watch Roger play.
His tenth Halle title's on the line:
Let's hope he's sprightly and feeling fine.
First up, it's Millman – so goodbye John!
Then Paire or Tsonga – Roger goes on.
Roberto slipped on the grass last year,
When his first final was rather near.
He'll be pipped in the quarters, for sure.
The holder Borna's chances are poor;
Roger will thwart him, he'll do no harm,
Nor Gaël, who prances with Gallic charm.
Sasha or Karen? Does it matter
Who's left with the runner-up's platter?

Finally a creative poem from Fed fan w/o taking low blows at other big 3 members though they weren't in the draw.

Roger gets through Millman :bigclap:

Good serving... some other stuff a bit dodgy, hope he can clean that stuff up soon.

So far, I've enjoyed Roger's matches much more than last year. This was another exciting, hard-fought win. He's not bad for his age, is he?

too much hard-fighting for me, we need a bit more serene progress :| but indeed for an old man he still delivers
