Petzschner when is on, i mean in form, is dangerous player, good serve by himself, good FH, great volleys, since he is skilled doubles player, weird BH, Milos should win this, but it won´t be easy, BTW Petzschner can return also well, i still can remember well that match in DC against Ivo, he even outserved Ivo - won on aces, which is rare think and it happends once in few year to outace Ivo in match. He was returning Ivos serve pretty good, so we will se how he can handle Milos´s bombs

They played each other twice last year, Raonic lost in the QF in Halle in 3 sets and then beat him 6-3 6-3 a few months later after his hip surgery in Stockholm. I expect Milos to win but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the match went 4 sets and is closer than I would like.
I just hope they end up on a court with cameras so I can watch it since Raonic started his AO campaign on court 19.

Yes i know they played, but i didn´t watch, so didn´t know how well he can handle his serve, and this will be totally different, first match was on grass, and the other one was indoor, this outdoor slow HC is very different from both i think.

By virtue of reaching the second round Petzschner has already had his best outing at the AO (singles) in the 4 years he has played! It will be an interesting match for sure, but I think if they both play to the best of their abilities and the conditions are decent, Milos will pull through.

I recall Milos having an epic struggle against Picasso last year at Halle. That's grass, but the fact Picasso was reading alot of Milos' serves even on grass could be a concern here. He was also taking time away from Milos by rushing the net, which was really effective.

Going Milos in 3 tight ones. Wouldn't underestimate a potential bad match up for him.

Either way, Philipp looked pretty good in his first match and I think his game, especially that slice of his, may make it awkward enough to disturb Raonic. Certainly both players have the chance to progress to the next round, I really think it is a 50/50 chance. I would be very surprised if this wasn't at the very least a 4 setter.
