Well if memory serves me right, the 3 slam years are 1974, 1988, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011.

For me the order would be:

1) 2011

2)2010

3)1988

4)2004

5)2007

6)1974

7)2006

Now your turn ;)

1. 2011 (Djokovic
2. 2006 (Federer)
3. 2007 (Federer)
4. 2010 (Nadal)
5. 1974 (Connors)
6. 2004 (Federer)
7. 1988 (Wilander)
I would place 2004 higher. Federer's competition was a bit tougher in 2004 than in 2006.

And also 18-0 vs top 10 players the entire year. Can't beat that

Mats Wilander.

He won 3 slams in 1988:

AOpen vs CASH, Pat (AUS) 6-3 6-7 3-6 6-1 8-6
RG vs LECONTE, Henri (FRA) 7-5 6-2 6-1
US Open vs LENDL, Ivan (TCH) 6-4 4-6 6-3 5-7 6-4

Before 1988 - Wilander won 4 slams (2x RG, 2xAOpen)
He failed to make another slam final (1989-1996).

1) 1988
2) 2011
3) 2004
4) 2007
5) 2006
6) 2010

Did anyone here actually see 1974? Or even 1988? I reckon most users weren't even born then.

Of the ones I've seen.

2006
2011
2004
2010
2007
Good question ... very few people. I started watching tennis in 1979, so can't really say anything about 1974 but I can rate the rest. My list is very close to yours.

2011
2006
2004
2010
2007
1988
