Nadal had many amazing clay court seasons, but which one was his best level wise?

Federer made Nadal look way better than he was. Because other players put up more resistance against Nadal at the FO from FO 2005 through 2008 than Federer did.

Because I stated a fact that other players performed better against Nadal at the FO than Federer did? Facts are no longer allowed, I guess. We should all just praise Federer excessively like you and The Federest do.

Coming from someone called "The Federest" with a pic of Federer as well. Someone is definitely obsessed with Federer, and it isn't me. Also, my post was on topic; yours wasn't.
Lol, yes, I'm a Federer fanatic.

And so are you, apparently.

Then again, he is the greatest.

Boy's a good clay courter alright, back in the powerful clay era of the 90s he might even won the French Open once or twice...
Those cavemen couldn't steal a set from Fed, let alone Djokovic. Nadal is of course above all competition and discussion when it comes to RG.

08 was def his best clay season. That was prob the highest level on clay of all time. Dismantled Federer like no ones done before and was practically unbeatable.

Obviously nadal played great in the 2005-2008 clay seasons, however 2010, 2012,2013 and 2017 should not be underestimated, he was nearly unbeatable during these years on clay.
If I tried to rank them it will be something like this:
1)2008
2)2012
3)2006
4)2010
5)2007
6)2017
7)2013
8)2005
9)2011
10)2018
11)2014
12)2019
13)2009
14)2016
15)2015

2010 was arguably his best season overall and I would say 2 or 3 in terms of clay level with the other being 2012.

Federer should be a lot better than Mathieu and Puerta also, right? But yet he didn't show it, hence what I meant when I said Federer made Nadal look way better than he is.

Federer first of all has a bad matchup disadvantage against Nadal, even then he still had the best scoreline against him bar 08.

Puerta had the best scoreline, actually...while Mathieu broke Nadal's serve twice as many times as Federer did. Had he had Federer's ability to hold serve, he probably would have beaten Nadal.

And no, it's not a matchup disadvantage. Federer simply is not good enough against his biggest rivals.

2010 was the only year he went undefeated, I am going with that one. He always averages at least 1 loss a year
