Swiped from an Ancic fan listing:

"Strong field of competitors in qualifications for the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament

The organizers of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament have not just been blessed with an extremely strong field of competitors for the main tournament; former top-10 players and other great talents have also registered for the qualification tournament. For example, apart from Nicolas Kiefer and Karol Kucera, the Belgian brothers Olivier and Christophe Rochus will make their appearance in the weekend prior to the main tournament. In addition, Mario Ancic has signed up for the qualifications. Last month, this Croatian talent knocked out Sjeng Schalken during the second round of the Australian Open. The Australian Wayne Arthurs, listed 46th in the world rankings, is the highest-seeded player in the ranking. And the wildcards will be given to Jean-Julien Rojer, a Dutchman coming from Curacao.

The competitors in the qualifications are listed as follows:
1. Wayne Arthurs (AUS);
2. Feliciano Lopez (ESP);
3. Radek Stepanek (CZE);
4. Olivier Rochus (BEL);
5. Mario Ancic (CRO);
6. Nicolas Kiefer (GER);
7. Michel Kratochvil (SUI);
8. Karol Kucera (SVK);
9. Julien Boutter (FRA);
10. Bohdan Ulihrach (CZE);
11. Olivier Mutis (FRA);
12. Alexander Waske (GER);
13. Christophe Rochus (BEL);
14. Jean-Julien Rojer (HOL) - W.C.
15. wildcard;
16. wildcard.

The qualification tournament will take place on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February in Hall 1 (Scheldehall) of Ahoy' Rotterdam. On both days, the matches will begin at 10 a.m."

Nice field ;) I'd cough up some good cash to see it. It's funny that Wayne has to qualify here, but if he was ranked 46th for the tennis masters series Toronto he wouldn't have to :eek:

Anyhow, hopefully all of the following win:

Ancic :D
Kratochvil :hearts:
Kiefer :)
Rocus :)

There - now everybody got a smiley and I can go to sleep happy.

you only have to win two matches right?
if so, they might as well have given mario a wc cause he shouldn't have any trouble qualifying!

Yes, I'd root for Super Mario too as there aren't many players I recognise in that draw; however, Wessels and Phau are two that I've seen before and I wouldn't mind either of them making it through to the main event.
