Good for the brazilian, that isnt a good hard court player.
The 20 year old Belgian player broke two times when down 5*-4, just to be broken back to lose both sets 5-7 5-7.

It's a good result, Feijao is finally started to find his level and do damage and he's a legitimately good player. Only 26-25 in HC events in challengers for his career so winning here over this quality a player is a big win for him.

Lost R1 in straight sets all three attempts he's tried to qualify at this event previously, so qualifying this season is indicative of how he's improved.

sure, the number one seed of an event living up to their seeding is good

but there are some guys im anxious to see play in a grand slam, david is one of those players
And therefore you wish the worst for the man who just did his job and beat someone you like. You and Flyboy could be twins, astonishingly similar amount of class. Well, lack of it.

Actually kinda surprised it has taken this long for Souza to get into a main draw GS. Expected him to qualify for FO by now, but a GS debut in the USO is a surprise. He has been due some success this year considering his ranking has been improving gradually year on year and now ranked around 90. Good luck to the man in the first round, hope he enjoys the experience of playing against such high quality.
