the mens is only a lowly International Series
the womens is a Tier II

The WTA has a really simple system for ordering tournaments, like Tier I, II, etc. But the ATP is confusing. I know TMS is the highest, but whats after that? Can someone just explain quickly?

Prize Money around 700-800K (50CR), Memphis, Acapulco, Washington, Indianapolis, Vienna, Tokyo,


International Series is lowest level
but there is alot of diff levels

Highest:
Moscow, Basel, Doha, Dubai all $1M tourns = 50CR to winner

then there are some 800K tourns = 45 to winner
eg. Queens, Halle, St Petersburg, Stockholm

some 40CR events (all around 600K)
Estoril, Gstaad, Salvador

tourns around 375K to 550k
theres alot of them and most frequent ones
winner gets 35 CR pts

nope ...... there just International Series

there aren't many ISG events
Acapulco and Stuttgart were lowered to IS this yr

February: Rotterdam, Memphis,
April: Barcelona
July: Kitzbuhel
August: Indianapolis, Washington
September: Tokyo
October: Vienna

There used to be a ruling that when an ISG event(s) was on, no other events took place that week.
so there used to be 2 ISG tourns in a week.

It seems weird that theres either the highest level, TMS, or the lowest level, IS, most of the time, and not much in between. Thanks for the info.
