A win is a win. How did Stan look? Very rusty or not?

His regular non-Slam self. Started focused, then stopped giving a f, then Safiullin started missing the court on every makeable shot.

Thanks. Non-slams are for Stan training sessions anyway.

According to Stan, he felt that he was.

Frankly, it did seem look like the typical "great start, big deflate" he usually has, although he seemed to have recurperated well in the 3rd Set and frankly tried to replicate the 1st. Overall, I thought he was pretty aggressive and tried to open up the court. His 2nd serve return counterattack was quite great. Adding pressure on return should be his ideal strategy in matches.
