Heard a few things from a friend who works on the WTA of a few changes being discussed and soon to be voted for 2015 season by ITF - but he says the changes if applied are for both tours (ITF)

1. Wimbledon seedings to go by ranking and not grass ranking (as whole clay specialist who sucks on grass thing is kind of over because of surface homogenization)

2. Wildcards to be reduced to 4 at slams from 8. Largely pushed from non slam nations (Spain, Italy, Czech Republic - all of Europe besides France and UK pretty much) who argue against juniors getting a financial hand from being from a certain country. Named Brengle, Rogowska and Foretz Gacon :)spit:).

3. Extra 4 spots to go to a) next 4 in or b) 4 more qualifiers or c) either 3 extra Q or 3 extra next in with 1x Junior WC (for highest ranked junior (only on junior rankings) who isn't in)

4. 30 seeded players by ranking, 2 seeded players by discretion. For WC's like Hingis or Ivanisevic. He said it's very unlikely because of favouritism and bias (Venus, Ivanovic, Hewitt etc) - being fought by same countries fighting for less WC's in post 2.

What do y'all think? I was floored

Good thing about WCs, as it is it's way too many.

One good thing would be to brought back 16 seeds and see tournaments organizers in ruins after a few days. Would make tennis more unpredictable as it was in the good old days.

It goes by ranking + grass ranking.
Wimbledon seeding only changes Top 32 so that's dumb. Also Grass Season is very short and this system doesn't change real ranking too much.
