I’ve been working with the new PongBot S Pro ball machine for about a month and it’s a game changer. If you’re in the market for a ball machine and you’re looking for the most versatile machine on the market and not just one marketed by gimmicks take a look at this machine. As someone who has used a variety of ball machines for my own development and, as a teaching pro, for the advancement of my students this machines stands alone. It’s portable. Not the lightest, @40 lbs., but manageable. Everything that you might need in a ball machine and.

Hey folks,
I don’t usually post about gear, but after spending a good amount of time with the Pongbot PACE S Pro, I figured I’d throw in my two cents, especially since I was a bit skeptical at first.
To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. There are already a lot of “smart” training tools out there that look great on paper but fall flat in practice. This one’s been a pleasant surprise. Setup was quick, the app is intuitive (not bloated or trying too hard), and the ball placement is shockingly consistent.
What I’ve appreciated most is the flexibility. I can dial in specific drills depending on what I want to work on that day, whether it’s footwork, timing, or just getting into a flow. It’s not just some ball-spitting machine either. The way it handles spin, pace, and variation actually feels useful, not gimmicky.
I’ve been using it a few times a week, and it's definitely helped me tighten up some parts of my game that were getting a bit rusty.
Funny side note: every single time I’ve had the machine running on a public court, players from nearby courts have wandered over to check it out. It really draws attention. I’ve ended up giving quite a few demos, and the reactions have been solely positive, people are genuinely impressed once they see it in action.
Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone here’s been on the fence. It’s not cheap, but for what it offers, I’d say it’s been worth it.
Cheers
Marcel

Got the S pro since June and have already seen a number of software and firmware updates. The term AI may be gimmicky, but the smart sensors like position sensors and racquet sensors really work. When I feel too lazy to create custom drills, I just click any of these smart match challenges and go with the flow. So far so good.

Hi guys, I got my Pongbot S Pro a couple of days ago and while using it for the first time it exploded which resulted in the death of a nearby child. DO NOT purchase.

I just purchased the Pongbot S and love it. I like the programability and the long battery life (I've used it for 4 hours and still had 2 bars left on it). It's very consistent in ball placement. I borrowed a ball machine from a friend (I won't mention the brand) but it was kind of a pain to set up the kind of shot I wanted, trying to dial in the speed, etc. Pongbot does all that for me. I'm still using the basic settings but look forward to using the combo drills and setting up my own drills.
