TBH, I was surprised at ANY ranking points for the 2nd chance.
So my choice is no more than 25%.

I am surprised at the voting results here. 50% is definitely too high for a losers bracket, as it doesn't place enough value on winning your R1 match.

I am surprised at all the results, being so clear cut, but this is 1 I can't see many other options to make it worth while. Once you are out of primary bracket you are limited to how many points you can win, the issue yes is 1 win versus 1 win in each bracket being equal, but you should end up playing each bracket about half the time, so it will even out over the season.

I think also one could argue RD1 matches in most events really don't have very many tough matches to pick from, and every round after is harder, but overall there are only so many options, and we want the 2nd chance bracket not to be a joke with half missing picks, so some value is needed. I did make a slight adjustment in points , so RD2 MAIN equals same as QF 2nd chance, where originally half points gave slightly more to 2nd chance extra round.

For now as long as 2nd chance bracket is competitive it will stay around, I'm not one that has any patience for a bunch of missing picks, so we will see how FEBRUARY goes!

One suggestion for second chance would be to give a second chance after any first loss (not only after first round loss):

Monday/Tuesday: 1R main draw (32 players) ==> 16 players in 2R main draw, 16 players in 1R second chance draw.
Wednesday: 2R main draw (16 players) / 1R second chance draw (16 players) ==> 8 players in QF main draw, 8+8 players in QF second chance draw.
Thursday: QF main draw (8 players) / QF second chance draw (16 players) ==> 4 players in SF main draw, 8 + 4 players in SF second chance draw.
Friday: SF main draw / SF second chance draw (12 players) ==> 2 players in F main draw, 6+2 players in F second chance draw.
Saturday/Sunday: F main draw / F second chance draw (8 players) ==> 1 winner, 4 second chance draw winners.

And the points awarded per round whether you are in main draw or second chance draw would be for a 250 tournament:

Win in 1R main draw: +20 pts
Win in 2R main draw: +25 pts
Win in QF main draw: +30 pts
Win in SF main draw: +75 pts
Win in F main draw: +100 pts

Win in 1R second chance draw: +20 pts
Win in QF second chance draw: +25 pts
Win in SF second chance draw: +30 pts
Win in F second chance draw: +35 pts

So:

- if you win main draw tournament, you earn 250 points.
- if you have only 1 loss and 4 wins during the week: you earn 110 points if you are not in Final main draw, else you earn 150 points.
