I don't think you should count the tournaments where a player beat Djokovic or Murray while they weren't in the top 4 yet. That would rule out Tsonga's 2008 AO, Safin's 2005 AO, Djokovic's 2007 and 2014 Miami, Nadal's 2006 and 2007 FO and 2008 W, Federer's 2008 USO.

Yeah I think it should only count once the person in question actually entered the top 4. I think you can still count Djokovic's 2014 Miami because lower rank or not, Murray is still a part of the Big 4 and had already been ranked in the top 4 at the time.

PS, it's Cincinnati :)

Fair enough, although I do think he becomes a questionable member if he remains in this slump for about two years, and say Wawrinka takes over his spot and slam count.
What about Cincinnati?

Murray was playin like a top 4 player that USO. I don't see any reason why we should rule him out.

An Djokovic in 2007 was playing pretty good. I don't see why you should rule him out either for Nadal. You can rule 2006 out though.

IMO it is tougher to beat 2 of them in back to back matches.

Nadal did beat Murray and Federer at W 2008, but he had a huge break in between them, playing Schuettler who was a very easy opponent. It is much more difficult to beat a top 4 player in the very nxt match after beating another top 4 player. This is something Nadal has never done outsdie of clay.

Djokovic is the GOAT at beatin 2 Big 4 in back to back matches

Putting Murray/Djokovic as Big 4 before 2008 is retarded
Djokovic entered the Top 4 in June 2007, and was #3 from August through the end of the year. I might not "count" him as Big 4 before that, but 2008 seems a bit late.

Fed beating Murray, Nadal and Djokovic in the WTF 2010 when all of them 3 were already part of the big 4 :worship:

That was a special tournament.
