fitness is a really relative and personal thing.

Because only yourself know or rather Believe you are fit or not.

Jankovic was a very weak muscled player but every time she tried to muscle up she said she cannot run anymore. Halep probably quite the same.


Some like Kafelnikov or Seles thought they should be really thin to perform, some like Bartoli or Townsend said they felt weak when loosing weight.
Brain may cheat with you because brain is uncomfortable in a different weight than what brain considers safe, whereas your muscles could have been performing freedly or with more power.


There is not one only way to build a body for Tennis, Baghdatis Wawrinka and even Federer performed when being blatantly overweighted (from Eastern European and Mediterranean Sport person Standards), some other like Medvedev are built like a match and performed.
Depends probably if your asset is flexibility movement power or brain too.
