I was wondernig why they didn't keep the 48-player draw like last year when Barcelona (and Washington?) I think has a 48-player draw too as 500's.

You want 16 seeds in a 32 man draw? Halle has 8 seeds as well.

It is harsh, harsh on both Goffin and Simon, they are ranked 13 and 15 and face off first round.

This is why I'm not in favour of 16 seeds at slams as you will get ridiculously tough match ups and roads to the 4th round for some seeds and ridiculously easy ones for others.
