Djokovic sealed the no 1 record and Nadal reached the #20. It's either Nadal or Djokovic.

Most likely it's Djokovic. He won 1 Grand Slam (AO), 2 Masters (Cincy and Rome) as wel as the ATP Cup. Nobody has won more than Djokovic.

An argument can certainly be made for Thiem for "Player of the Year." He had an amazing year - winning his first slam and making a slam final in Australia. However, I believe that Djokovic edges it out due to having won 5 titles while having similar results in slams.

Lol, Thiem will not get it. The last time the ATP didn't give the YE#1 the Player of the Year award was in 1989. They're not giving it to someone who finished as #3 who won one tournament.

Even though 2020 has been cut in significant proportions, the fact remains that Djokovic has won the most important tournaments, including the ATP Cup in the preamble.
