Great volley to get to match point. Both players had more UEs than winners- but from the part that I saw (just last few games of second set)- Pico did well.

Tommy was a break up in the first, but Pico then broke twice in a row for the set. Very solid play in the second set. Before this tournament Pico had never beaten a top 100 player indoors - amazing what confidence can do to a player.

Congrats Pico :yeah:

Pico really played a great match and Haas did so many unforced errors, so deserved win for Monaco :)

Amazing match by Pico. He can't be dismissed as claycourter specialist anymore.
i think he did show his potential in US open series already

great win for him

and Haas' chances to make the TMC get slimmer :D

Yeah especially because each win was far from a given, and this is (theoretically) their worst surface. That said, I don't see any of them going very far, at most another win.
