Great match by Shevchenko who should have won it in 2.

Berretini was so-so besides his serve which wasn't top notch either. Too many UEs. Shevchenko exploited the BH side well and lost a break in the 2nd set from 40*-15. Successfully rebounded either way and broke Berretini in the 3rd, who seems not in his best from now.

A year ago, we were being told he was winning slams. Now he can’t win challenger semi finals. Tough break.
Who said this, lol ? Nobody in their right mind would think this guy can win slams even if players from North America are banned.

Was/is considered to be in the running at Wimbledon. Last year he came in on the back of a win streak, having won Stuttgart and Queen's Club B2B. Also the current B2B Queen's champion, and was a Wimbledon finalist in 2021. Never got to see it play out last year as his tournament got derailed before it even started due to Covid. His W/L on grass:

Thanks for this. Yeah, he was unlucky at Wimbledon last year but his 2021 run was far from impressive. It had more to do with the depth of the field on grass. The current top 10 except Djokovic have zero grass pedigree. Most of them have yet to play fully on grass after having hit their stride. Even otherwise, apart from Hurkacz or random serve bombing finalists like Berettini or Kyrgios, most of the youngsters are totally incompetent on grass.

As I said before. Not a good decision to play this Challenger. Wants to get some self believe and not even able to make a SF here.
