Looking at the draw, I think Kokkinakis will have a real shot in this one. Not counting out Berretta or Lehecka, but everyone else is absolutely beatable and the aforementioned two would be a 50/50 match vs the Aussie, plus the conditions should suit him too. Not a fan of his, but didn't see him in the poll, so had to mention his name.

I don't think you get any ponts for losing in R1. 6 points are awarded to qualifiers who win both qualifying rounds.

6 points is a typo.
The points breakdown in official ATP Rulebook has players receiving no points for R1 loss at Challengers 175 if they don't come out of qualifying. Those who qualify and then lose in main draw R1 do receive 6 points.

This is it, exactly.

I think the winner will be Gasquet, Lehecka, or Ivashka. Would be nice to see Ruus. do well and maybe snag a win but I don't think he'll go all the way -- his serve is a liability and he's not a great match player yet considering his talent. Both Matteo and Diego really need the confidence. Why isn't Dominic playing here??

He can play matches as practice sessions too without too much pressure, doesn't need to sign up for challengers that are mostly intended for players outside top 100, or outside top 50 for this particular 1

I pick Lehecka. To me, he has the most natural ability in this draw, and without the added pressure of being a big event I think he'll do well in Phoenix.

This draw is better then allot of 250’s certainly stronger then what we just saw in South America from top to bottom. Berettini vs Ivashka in the 1st round of a 175 Challenger is pretty crazy even if it is right after the 1st week of IW and a 3-4 hr drive from there. Last year’s draw was strong as well but not this good. I like Lehecka to win the whole thing in Phoenix.
