Pat Cash has being saying dumb stuff about Federer for 17 years now.

This is the creep who called Mirka a hanger-on back in 2003.

Presumably he's looking for attention now, because nobody is interested in him. He should get a proper job.

How about you try to form your own argument, instead of the ad-hominem nature of your post?

I think that Roger Federer would be the best out of them all had this era not been so homogenised and slow, but he will not go down as such because he will be well behind in pretty much all records. The truth is that he blew it in many matches that he could have won during his actual prime and even more when he was removed from his prime - he is quite clearly the mentally weakest player out of himself, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

In the end, he could be as far behind as Pete Sampras is to him and many Roger Federer fanboys dismiss Pete Sampras as if he was some glorified club player. One can't have it both ways.

You misunderstand.

This is not about an argument; it's about Pat Cash seeking attention. Federer isn't even playing at the moment.

The entire summary of Cash's unnecessary interjection here is:

Pat Cash doesn't like Federer, never has. Pat Cash needs attention. That is all.

It's debatable. Djokovic is the greatest and it's between Federer and Nadal for second place. Federer has a far more balanced resume than Nadal and as a result far more weeks at number one but maybe if Nadal wins more majors he could be considered greater. I would say it's about even but of course no one really knows these things.

I truly see no criteria where Nadal would be seen as clearly greater than Fed.

Equal, definately. But not greater.

Federer is at worst equal second greatest.

Is it an "unnecessary interjection", or is it just a media outlet (Eurosport) doing their job?

Is there anything inaccurate or unethical about what Pat Cash said?

Is Cash in the TOP100 of all time players? Not even close, maybe on grass but that’s debatable.

Yes, he should declare an interest.

Anyway, it's just Pat Cash attacking Federer again, because he doesn't like Federer or Mirka. It doesn't need to be treated seriously.

Maybe at this moment, but if we're only talking this moment, Djok is prob no better either

The point is Nadal and Djok both have way more left in them than Fed does, and will ultimately catch and surpass him

How brave of Pat Cash to say something like that publicly.
