Pretty good stuff from Feds, no mental lapses, looked sharp indeed. :yeah:
But he did so last year just the same only to lose to Monfils, so I won't be drawing any premature conclusions towards his chances of winning here.
Mannarino had a decent start, saw quite some nice aggressive attacking attempts from him in the 1st set, but of course he's no match to Decent!Fed. After his fall early in the 2nd set, he obviously was done-and-dusted.
