truth be told dolgo looked like he would win in straight sets however kohli fought back and broke on his 3rd chance when dolgo served for it then held at love

he was ahead the entire time in the tiebreaker, had triple set point at 6-3 but blew the 2 on dolgo's serve and then double faulted to go to 6-6 and proceeded to lose from there

I missed most of the second set but that was one epic double fault from Kohli at 6*-5 in the TB, closer to Dolgo's feet than the service line. Alex sealed the deal with a great return winner at 6-6. His usual hot and cold self within the match.

Saving Match Point like a beast but then double faulting like a child on Set Point :rollseye:

This double Fault sumps up his whole Season. Time for off season!

Looked like it was going into the net which put kolhi off to be fair, net cord took it over, nothing great.

When Dolgo served at 63 *54, I was thinking about how lucky Kohli was that had gotten 7 games out of that match. Dolgo could easily have bageled him first set, and was close to the double break a couple of times in the second aswell.

Dolgo was so lucky in the breaker with a letcord, and a couple of shots on the outside of the line.

You'd think with these two a 3 setter would be inevitable but Kohli sure fucked that up

It's important to preserve good patterns, this year in Acapulco, Dog beat Wawrinka 6-4 7-6(6) like today winning the match point with 2nd serve-and-volley action (having saved a couple set points).

Kohlschreiber on the other hand repeated his negative pattern from Indian Wells where he saved match points against Del Potro before the tie-break, in which he led 6:1 to lose the match 6-7 6-7 :)

yeah MTF logic at its best right here. The winner is always the bigger loser than the actually loser. How can he have the audacity to win? Doesn't he know he sucks?
