Luczak trailed 3:5 in the 1st set, just to lose in the tie-break by 9-7.

Hopefully this forebodes a good year for Berdych. I'd like him to do well. It was very disappointing when he retired in his match against Roddick last U.S. Open. I was really looking forward to that match, and then Berdych retired just after the first set. If he hadn't developed breathing problems, I think he would have had a fair of beating Roddick. Perhaps a second chance this year?

I'm a fan of Tomas' game. I would love to see him pull his head out of his ass this year and play some great, consistent tennis. Unfortunately I'm not too hopeful.
