He is the only one who severely challenged him in the slams and actually beat him....

Yes. And whether or not Djokovic can sustain that level of play. It is entirely possible that next year he has a let down because of how much energy he put into this year. That is what makes Fed so great is he was able to win 3 slams in a single season on three occasions. He never suffered the let down the following season.

People are still divided.

Lets analyze and take a closer look:

2011: Federer lost the AO. People thought he was done. Came back to win Djokovic at the FO. Lost to Djokovic in 5 sets at the USO when the game was at the tip of his racket. So they split a pair of wins/losses at the slams until this USO.

As for Nadal, he still reached 3 finals. You have to give him some credit. But I think at the moment, he will remain a 2nd threat after Federer. 2012 season should answer plenty of questions.

It's a match-up issue. Federer has much better chances against Djokovic's current level because his style can outplay him much easier than Rafa's can.

This question appears like every day. It is obviously that Federer is Novak's biggest threat. Just like Nadal is a bad match up for Federer, Federer is a bad match up for Djokovic. Big serving, has a lot of variety and can end points immediately. Three things that Novak hates to face.

FFS.. He beat Nole 1 TIME this year. He's hardly a threat as is anyone else right now.

If you call that a threat. Ok.. Thats about as much of a threat as Roddick was to Fed.

Nole OWNS Fedal.

setsampras, you clearly are delusional. Yes he beat novak once this year ON A GRAND SLAM... BUt you are acting like federer didnt do shit this us open? One return miss and federer was in the grand slam final. Your hate for federer is ridiculous. Why do you even watch tennis?

Nadal is not the 2nd threat to Djokovic, he simply doesnt have any weapons to hurt Novak. Tsonga or Murray on good days are much more dangerous for Djokovic.

djokovic fans, who scares you more.

Nadal or federer or murray?

Federer of course if he plays well...otherwise no.....Nadal scares me always because it is Nadal and you never know...Murray can fluke out a win here and there ...but if Novak is fit and playing at his best level only Federer on his best can beat him....

The hate is strong in this one. The question is who is the biggest threat, and this year both Federer and Murray have beaten Djokovic once and come within a point of doing it a second time. So, take your pick. :D

10-1 is all I need to know fellas.. The RESULT speak for themselves.. And if you think Fed is going to be any more successful against Nole next year.. Thats a big Laugh. Lets see him not choke away MP's or blow 2 set leads and then we will talk about Fed and his "threat" Hes got the game but he doesn' it have it in other places. His mind. And hes getting old.

You are writing him off quickly. Over two matches. Nadal created problems for Djokovic in the past, he can certainly create problems in the future if he's okay.

Forget Murray. He is a joke.

Federer when hisserve is on is the biggest threat.

Nadal is such a great player that it is never over

However, if Novak plays his best - he won't be beaten

You have become beyond pathetic with your antifed rants. You said over and over again that Nole would destroy Federer, you just fail to realise that Federers game is a nightmare to Nole even at 30 years old.

Remember Sampras at 30 beeing doublebreadsticked by Hewitt and going all year without titles?

You really should appreciate that Federer still has it in him to go toe to toe with such a great player like Nole at his peak. No one here is trying to say Federer at 30 is better than Nole, however Federer at 30 is better than most greats as they turned 30.
